What is Traditional Chinese Medicine?
TCM developed in China over several thousand years and its theory asserts that processes of the human body are interrelated and in constant interaction with the environment. Signs of disharmony in the body help a practitioner understand, treat and prevent illnesses and disease.
What is Acupuncture and how does it work?
Acupuncture is a technique of inserting and manipulating fine needles into ‘acupuncture points’ on the body in order to treat disease or ‘disharmony’ patterns.
Disease is a loss of balance between yin and yang energies. This disharmony is not only treated with acupuncture needles but also heat (moxa), cupping or gua sha so as to normalize the free flow of qi ‘vital energy’, blood and body fluids throughout the body. The aim is to restore health, balance and well-being.
What does it feel like?
Patients find that treatments are relaxing and involve little or no discomfort. Occasionally one may feel a slight pinch/prick that quickly disappears.
Can I benefit even if I am relatively healthy?
Acupuncture patients range in age from children to seniors. Some seek treatment as an alternative to or as an enhancement of Western medicine, while others seek treatment for a chronic condition. TCM is not only used for treating ailments as they arise, but also in preventing disease. Many individuals find acupuncture a great way to maintain healthy and balanced lives. Furthermore, re-balancing before and/or after each season is highly recommended and helps to reduce the stress of climatic changes which also affect the body.
Do you suffer from what you eat?
The foods you consume may be causing you long term health problems.
I take a small blood sample and send it to be analysed by a certified and accredited laboratory to determine what foods you may be intolerant to.
I then assess and evaluate the results and make an appropriate treatment plan suited to you.

My journey began at the well-known Academy of Chinese Healing Arts in Winterthur under the tuition of many renowned lecturers such as Hamid Montakab, Giovanni Maciocia and Jeffery Yuan. My western medical studies were done at the ACHA and Bio-Medica Zürich and practical training was completed at The Shenzhen TCM Hospital in Shenzhen China, 2006.
I then completed my Diploma of Chinese Herbal Medicine in 2009 at the ACHA under the tuition of the British Herbalist, Michael McIntyre.
My professional career started in a medical center (medbase) until I opened my own practice in Walchwil in 2008. Wanting to be more central I decided in 2015, after many successful years in Walchwil, to move my practice to Zug. I also offer acupuncture to Zürich Insurance Corporate Centre employees in Mythenquai, Zürich.
I completed all requirements to be an SBO-TCM A-member and I am registered with the Zuger Gesundheitsdirektion. I’m a member of the EMR Erfahrungs Medizinisches Register, ASCA and EGK, therefore recognized by Swiss Health Insurances.

Cosmetic acupuncture is the use of fine needles that work to increase the circulation of energy and blood to the face. This increase in circulation causes more nutrients, collagen and elastin moving to the facial area.
Cosmetic acupuncture also works to decrease stress and improve health, which also benefits the appearance of the face.
Colour Ultrasound Treatment and Cellulite Therapy
Using Cupping to Treat Cellulite:
Cellulite suction massage breaks up cellulite using suction and lymphatic drainage. The cellulite is physically broken up, circulation is greatly increased, and the fat and toxins are delivered to the lymph system to be drained.
Ultrasound Colour Therapy:
The color light activates the energy in the cells and speeds up bio-chemical cell circulation and elasticity of the connective tissue. The gel that is used with the machine is made of Soya beans and Ginseng which regenerates and rejuvenates the skin.
